Enviro Schools

Sunnynook School is developing a strong committment to the local environment and sustainable living.

In 2010 our "No Pollution - Evolution Group", guided by Fiona Lister, have constructed a compost bin, wormery and gardens around the school. This group of children also lead the planting of our new Native Tree forest behind Rooms 14 to 17. The 527 trees planted on August 24 2010 were provided by the NSCC as part of our Travelwise Project.
