Swimming Pool

Swimming is part of the school’s Physical Education programme in Terms ONE and FOUR. All children are expected to take part unless they have medical problems and then a note must be sent to the teacher. A Specialist Swimming teacher teaches children iin Term ONE n small ability groupings. The cost to parents is approximately $25 and is included in the Activity fee.

Pool keys are hired out to parents who have been regular helpers around the school over the year. A regular helper may have been on several classroom trips, been a regular helper with the PTA, been a regular helper in the lunchroom or even supervised the Road Patrol over the year. These people are identified by the teachers, office staff and PTA and are invited to the Parent Helpers Afternoon Tea at the end of the year. At that Afternoon Tea, those parents are invited to put their name down on the list for a key. Please be aware of this if you are hoping to get a key next year.
