We are searching for a leader who has the following skills and attributes:
- Proven leadership experience
- Excellent pedagogical and curriculum knowledge
- Ability to build strong relationships with learners, staff, whānau and external agencies
- Effective and respectful communicator
- Places ākonga at the heart of all decision making processes
- The ability to think, plan strategically and engage others in a meaningful way
- The ability to work collaboratively alongside the leadership team, staff and Board of Trustees
- The ability to analyse and reflect on data to improve teaching and learning
- SENCO experience, as this will be a significant part of your role
- Understand and recognise the unique status of tangata whenua in NZ and is committed to further developing culturally sustaining practices at school.
- Commitment to our school’s vision, values and strategic direction
- Actively involved in school life.
